Access to Information Act
The Access to Information Act gives every Canadian citizen, permanent resident, individual or corporation present in Canada the right to request access to records that are under the control of federal government institutions regardless of their format. As Destination Canada is subject to this act, we are required to provide access to records under our control upon receiving a formal request for information, unless the records or portions thereof are exempted or excluded from disclosure.
To make a request, please complete either the Access to Information Request Form or the Personal Information Request Form or include a letter indicating that your request is made in accordance with the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act and describe the information you are seeking. Please include relevant details to help the ATIP Office find the information you are requesting. Please note that a $5 application fee applies to only Access to Information requests. There is no fee for requests for personal information. Payment may be in the form of a cheque or money order made payable to Destination Canada at the following address:

Annual Reports to Parliament
Section 72 of both the Access to Information Act and of the Privacy Act require that the head of every government institute shall prepare, for submission to Parliament, an annual report on the administrations of the Acts during each fiscal year.
